Opening this winter · basements, bathrooms, ice dams
One request. One pro we'd put in a good word for.
Good Word Home connects Twin Cities homeowners with one licensed, insured contractor per job. Free for homeowners.
How it works
Your request goes to one contractor. Only one.
Tell us the job
A short form: what you need done, where, and when.
We send it to one pro
One contractor we vouch for gets your request. Nobody else does.
They reach out to quote
You talk to them directly and decide. The work, the contract and the payment are between you and them.
Who we put a good word in for
We sign one contractor per trade in each part of the metro, and we only add a trade once we have a pro for it.
- Licensed in Minnesota where the work requires it
- Carries liability insurance
Contractors: basements, bathrooms, ice dams
We're signing one contractor per area before we open to homeowners this winter. Every lead we send you is yours alone.
